The Somatic Detective

The Somatic Detective provides healing bodywork for the mindful body. Our bodies are our history written in the flesh. Sometimes to our detriment stress, strain or trauma- physical, mental or emotional- remains held in the body. Focus is on unwinding patterns of tension, chronic pain, injury or stress to restore the body to its natural balance and ease.

In whichever modality– Polarity, Craniosacral or Massage- as the body talks, the hands listen, responding to the shifts of tension & strain in your body to help restore greater health and ease of movement. Listening with a deepened awareness to what the body expresses– “the body experienced from within” (“somatic”)- allows greater choice and an enhanced ability for change, be it to breathe more deeply, move more freely or feel more connected.
